Hello! I'm Jessica Benes, a portrait and wedding photographer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For the majority of my career, my business was known as Jessica Quist Photography. After hundreds of happy clients, I’m rebranding my business to my married name, Jessica Benes. It’s still me, I just have a ring on it! The moments I've shared with my clients are pictured here in my galleries. I hope you enjoy them!
Why do I love this work? I feel alive when I'm creating, and new experiences inspire me. The photographs I take for my clients remind them that life is pretty amazing and so are the people around them. As each project unfolds through my lens, my photography is beautiful, imaginative, and fun!

After graduating from Columbia with a degree in Fine Art Photography, I moved to Milwaukee to start a career in fashion photography, traveling and working with Bon Ton's Fashion Photography Studio. I learned how to effectively collaborate with a variety of diverse personalities working alongside fashion photographers, art directors, stylists, and professional models on set. My endless supply of creativity is a strength of mine, whether it's fine tuning lighting, suggesting poses, or finding new locations for my clients.
Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood is home and my favorite place in the universe. It’s where I started my business, met my husband and want to raise our children. Most of my free time is spent with my family at the lake, out exploring the city, scouting new venues or cheering inside of hockey rinks!
